WikiLeaks Stories — Game designers are encouraged to give the actual content of the cables leaked to Wikileaks the coverage that has been sorely lacking in traditional outlets. This is not a new trend — Gonzalo Fraca gained notoriety a few years back with his game September 12th, and even further back, during the golden age of arcades, we saw Missile Command, a bold statement on the Cold War which can only end as many feared that era would: every city wiped out, and not a living soul remaining.
Over the years, though, it has been a very neglected avenue for game designers, and so I’m extremely curious to see where this leads.
